Here is what to expect when you would like to attend some of the scheduled games:
For Indoor Courts:
Indoor courts are used typically only in winter months (November to March). When you RSVP to a Indoor Court game, here is what should happen:
2 days before event all RSVPs must be received from all interested players
Courts are booked by Organizers 2 days before event once all RSVPs are received
At least 24 hours before game time, an email will go to all who RSVP'd informing them of the Court booking confirmation
On game day, meet up with other players at court
Any fees for the court need to be paid to organizer at court side before playing
Have fun playing with others of similar interest
For Outdoor Courts:
From April to October we play in outdoor courts. Outdoor courts that we play at currently are free. For start times and locations, refer to the Calendar page to get the list of scheduled upcoming games. Schedule is updated regularly based on feedback from members, In October, we might start the evening games earlier due to shortened daylight.
Here is what to expect for outdoor court booking:
6 hours prior to start time, all RSVPs should have been received from all interested players
if only 2 or fewer players sign up, the game may be cancelled
Games are setup based on number of players attending. If only 3, Australian Tennis is played, if 4, a regular doubles match, etc..
Matches may be set by organizer to balance player levels if sufficient players attend
On game day, check for emails to ensure matches have not been cancelled due to bad weather
At game start, meet up with other players at court
Have fun playing with others of similar interest
When we play outdoors, there are no fees of course, but we also can not make reservations, so please arrive early to help claim a court for yourself and your teammates.
For Tennis Ladder Games:
Check the Tennis Ladder instructions at this page.
Create your own Scheduled game - ( Adhoc Games ):
Would you like to organize your own doubles or singles game? you can, just go to the Adhoc game page and create a game, time, number of players you accept and cost (for indoor games) and submit. This will send an email to overall group informing them of the game, you will also be notified every time someone signs up for the game so you can better plan.
For 1-1 Games:
The Membership Directory is accessible to members only. Once you are a member, feel free to contact others on the Membership Directory to organize a 1-1 game with them.
Please do not abuse the privilege of being able to contact others in the Membership directory and respect their wishes if they do not wish to play.
For best enjoyment of the game, please choose others that are similar level to your level of tennis play.
